- My name is Frank Kaminsky, and I'm the owner Livin' Good Home Renovation here in Columbus, OH. I've been renovating and repairing homes for over 25 years and professionally in Oklahoma, North Carolina and Ohio for the last 12+ years. I stay up to date with the latest building materials and procedures used in the building trades. I believe quality renovations come from the knowledge gained from years of previous experience, staying current with the latest innovations, and talking with other pro's in all trades. Probably the biggest asset I can offer is that I LOVE what I do and always have.
- Please feel free to e-mail or call if you would like to schedule an appointment to meet and discuss your project. Also please take a look at some of the pictures I've posted of various projects I've done. It may give you some ideas or inspiration.
- I am an experienced residential contractor in the State of Ohio, insured and can provide references upon request. I typically will come out to your home free of charge to meet and discuss your project, and work with you to come up with a solution and/or design that best fits your needs. I will then send you a written itemized estimate via e-mail. If you have a designer or want me to refer you one that I can team up with, I'd be glad to to that. I have a good list of suppliers and sub-contractors in the Columbus area that I've found to be trustworthy and cost effective.
- I do all the work myself along with some outside help from time to time, and professional sub-contractors as needed. I will stay at your home until the project is complete and schedule clients in order of commitment. I have purposely tried to stay small and not hire a large crew or expand too far from Clintonville so I can control the quality of work and ensure a good line of communication directly with the client.
- In previous lives I was a design engineer for the automotive industry, sold home grown organic vegetables at the local farmers market, and worked as a supervisor for a trucking company after graduating from Central Michigan University with a B.S. in Business Administration. I still maintain 40 acres in Northern Michigan along with a late 1800's farmhouse that has been an ongoing personal renovation of mine for the last 15 years. I was told to bulldoze it by more that a couple of people when I purchased the place, but it had a heart and soul ( and good foundation) and more years left with a little help from a fool like me. It's where my family spends some of our best times, and is as great during the winter as it is during spring, summer and fall.
- My wife and I moved to Clintonville after a living in Norman OK, Cary NC, and before that our original home in Ann Arbor, MI. We moved to Clintonville to be near The Ohio State University where my wife is employed. Ohio is a beautiful State and we love our life here! We still spend time in Northern Michigan when we can get away, to visit with family and friends, and get in as much fishing as possible!
